The Happening

The main colour in this is blue, which makes everything look sad and gives an atmosphere of despair and but the light gives a sense of hope like there will be a better tomorrow. The other colour, red is meant to symbolise danger and death. The lighting is focussed on the faces of those in the frame which helps emphasises their facial expression terrified faces connotes fear which adds to the drama already taking place. also from them hugging through tough times as you can see from the frame being warped as ii something dangerous is taking place from this you can infer unity as people are coming together in difficult situations .You can conclude that something is bad in the weather its like a bit of pathetic phallacy with the bad weather that something bad is about to happen .
