Post research into Thriller genre

Thrillers are a genre of film  that uses tension,suspense  and excitement as the main elements of the film . The common sub genre of thrillers is psychological thrillers. Thrillers aim is to keep the audience enticed by keeping them on edge doing this by having a high level of anticipation, tensions and excitement making the film a constant cliff hanger where you cant anticipate what’s going to happen. .

§                    Conspiracy thriller: In which the hero/heroine confronts a large, powerful group of enemies what there true plans are and trying bringing down the organisation and expose them what they by usually putting themselves in danger Like the di vinci code

§                 Crime thriller: is suspenseful account of a successful or failed crime or crimes. These films often focus on the criminal opposed to a member of the law. Crime thrillers usually contain action over psychological aspects. Usual story line of these films includes serial killers/murders, robberies, chases, shootouts, heists and double-crosses Like oceans 11.

             Legal thriller: In which the lawyer-heroes/heroines confront enemies outside, as well as inside, the courtroom and are in danger of losing not only their cases but also their lives like law abiding citizen

§            Psychological thriller: In the conflict between the main characters is mental and emotional, rather than physical. Characters, either by accident or their own curiousness, are dragged into a dangerous conflict or situation that they are not prepared to resolve. Characters are not reliant on physical strength to overcome their brutish enemies, but rather are reliant on their mental resources, whether it be by battling wits with a formidable opponent or by battling for equilibrium in the character's own mind. The suspense created by psychological thrillers often comes from two or more characters preying upon one another's minds, either by playing deceptive games with the other or by merely trying to demolish the other's mental state like memento or Donnie Darko  

§                   Rape and Revenge films: this focuses more on the thriller elements such as suspense, tension, some action and fast pacing rather scares and terrorises the audience opposed to keeping them on edge although most stalker films are of this sub genre .these sub genre tends too have graphic material. §                    Supernatural thriller: In which the film brings tensions and suspense by the film having   the hero or villain has some psychic unnatural ability which allows the film to exciting Like Hancock or in the happening
